    Part one answers:
    1) The three Microsoft Office Applications that are pre-loaded on the HP/AT&T iPAQ Glisten smartphone are:
The office suite of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint,
    2) The powerhouse has 3G,

    Part Two answers:
    1) Name two things you should never do at business networking events. Fall asleep or pick your nose.
    2) Name two things you should always do at business networking events. Introduce yourself by saying your name with a genuine smile on your face, shaking hands warmly and firmly (but not too hard or like a limp rag), hand out your business card and get their card. Then make a note of where and how you met, info about them on the back including important follow up info.
    3) Name 2 things you should do after a business networking event. Organize cards by inputting them in an address book system. Reconnect either by e-mail or phone to set up a follow up meeting to nurture a relationship. Business is built on personal relationships first.

  5. 1) Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote
    2) it is a 3G phone but there only one “G” in “Glisten” 🙂
3)”active-matrix organic light-emitting diode” display. supposedly offers better picture with less power(longer battery hours). But I’ll let you know if that’s true once I get it. :o)

    Plus
    1)
    a. conducting yourself in a unprofessional manner. (rudeness and etc)
    b. forgetting to promote your own business as well as politely listening about other businesses. (it is easy to forget the purpose of being in network event when manners come to play.)
    2)
    a. Smile ! (it relaxes you and others. makes you more approachable and adds to a pleasant environment)
    b. Ask Lots of Questions (whether or not there is a business opportunity down the road, it is always GREAT to have someone interested in your business and enthusiastically ask questions. Ask others what their needs are and express your own.)
    3)
    a. Follow up on your new contacts, ask how their are needs being met and catch up. (A good way to show that your interest in them and their business goes beyond the event.)
    b. Thank the organizers for the wonderful event as putting together one is hard work. (This will ensure you will not be anonymous at the next event. Also they might be having a contest for a certain item(a phone perhaps) that you want, and flattery will get you everything. :O) )

  6. 1) Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    2) 3G — on a totally different sidenote (good for ATT though) a study done by a tech publication found that Sprints 4G network isn’t as fast as the 3G network in most practical instances

    3) a display which doesn’t require a backlight so you have longer bettery life and less power useage

    Networking Questions:

    1) attend the event with the sole expectation of just getting business and acting as a salesperson,
On a related note, it also isn’t good to simply stand in a corner or area where people have to go around you, and then you simply hand out your cards randomly

    2) Two things to always do at networking events: keep an open mind because no matter what profession the person is in, even if they are in the same industry, you never know what synergies can be formed
If you know anyone at the event who might be a good match for a person you just met, try to introduce them at that time because an in-person introduction is much more genuine/appreciative than simply sending an email

    3) Two things to do after a networking event: make sure you keep the business cards you collect in a file or somewhere memorable, and if possible scan the cards to your computer with a business card scanner so you’ll be able to help make connections down the road (…see the point about never knowing who knows who)

The other thing to do is to follow up with the people you meet if possible (this can be done easily by scanning the business cards and extracting the emails), but also to see if any of the people you recently met might form good synergies with people already in your network.
