Debbie Viola and the Susan Satriano Foundation… plus Extreme Home Make-Over

Early last month, viewers of ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” got a peak at the work of Debbie Viola, a Massapequa Park artist who often donates her work to local charities and organizations.
….
Viola provided faux finishes for much of the furniture given to the Lutz family, the “Extreme Makeover” family comprised of six adopted children with Down syndrome and their oldest sister. Viola also painted murals throughout the house.

Viola is currently working on pieces to be sold at a Nov. 9 fundraiser to benefit the Susan Satriano Memorial Foundation, which provides scholarships to college-bound children whose parents are suffering from or have died of cancer.

  1. Thank you Yvonne. It was a nice surprise to be contacted by Newsday on Friday.

I’m looking so forward to the great event you have planned for Tuesday night. I will be donating 50% from the sale of my handpainted items to the Susan Satriano Foundation.
