Networking isn’t sales and sales isn’t networking. They’re interrelated, but they’re not the same. It’s a lifestyle.

Networking is a valuable marketing tool. Networking requires a sincere desire to help others. It’s the art of giving to promote the advancement of others.

If you’re in it only for the money, or for yourself, ultimately it won’t work.
People will catch on and the roof will collapse. Put your efforts into helping others. Your network will grow exponentially. The sales will follow, as will some other pleasant surprises.

Make it your crusade to continually meet the most outstanding people. Fill your life with outstanding people.

  2. This post rings so true for me. I am new at networking, but not new at helping to promote others. And promoting others while assisting them is really fun and fulfilling for me. I am new at wanting to grow my business but not new at referring other people to people. In Toni and Miriam’s post I see that my growth has come from really enjoying and servicing the people around me. The more you give, the more you get. Keep the focus on putting out your best to assist others and the Universe does for you in kind.
