After the meeting – April 12, 2011

If you take a minute to fill out the ‘rate the meeting’ section on Meetup.com after you attend one of the meetings, you will get your name and link posted on the very popular Long Island Entrepreneurs Blog. Just like these people did:

The combination of Long Island Entrepreneurs Meetup Group and Long Island Women in Power was a huge success. Close to 70 enthusiastic business people attended this fabulous meeting benefiting Tina Maria’s Hope and the National Alliance of Mental Illness http://www.nami.org  . Tina Maria’s Hope was started by Carol Ann Viccora in memory of her daughter. Carol Ann creates wonderful chocolate baskets which were for sale at the event and not many were left at the end of the event!! Our featured speaker for the evening was Regina Finkelstein, who explained how to Promote yourself on any budget. Find the best promotional product for your industry. Thank you Doctor Promo – http://www.DoctorPromo.com  . I left this meeting feeling very happy knowing that this was a huge success.

Great turnout; despite the raw, rainy weather. Everyone was friendly and approachable.

I keep returning to LIEM because they are well run meetings and attract people who are open to listening to what you have to say. This is true networking.

  1. This was my first meeting, and I was beyond impressed! The turnout was remarkable, the venue perfect, and everything was extremely organized and efficient. It was everything a networking event should be.
